The Color of Victory Movie Premiere
The premiere of Zaferin Rengi (“The Color of Victory”) — a film depicting one of the most significant football triumphs of Fenerbahçe SK, one of Turkey’s largest sports clubs, and a victory that resonated like a national triumph — took place with great acclaim.
The film, which left a lasting mark on Turkish sports history and reached its emotional peak through the honorable story of the General Harington Cup, draws inspiration from real events between 1918 and 1923. It narrates the rise of the national resistance led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the growing momentum of the independence movement in occupied Istanbul, and how the morale-boosting victories on the football field united the people in their fight for freedom.
