The Women Entrepreneurs Center (GİKAMER), initiated by TİKAD with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) and in collaboration with Galatasaray University, was officially introduced with the participation of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, wife of the President of the Republic of Türkiye.
Mrs. Emine Erdoğan emphasized that women’s active role in entrepreneurship significantly contributes to national development and social transformation.
She personally presented certificates to women entrepreneurs who had completed their training and mentorship at GİKAMER.
The event concluded with the announcement that GİKAMER would expand beyond Istanbul, with Kahramanmaraş being the next destination.

During the launch event, keynote speeches were delivered by TİKAD President Nilüfer Bulut, Acting Secretary General of ISTKA Dr. Fatih Pişkin, Rector of Galatasaray University Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Karsak, and Minister of Family, Labour and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk — all highlighting the transformative role of women in entrepreneurship.
